  • The Los Angeles Clippers finished 51-31 in 2023-24.

After losing Paul George to free agency in the offseason, the Los Angeles Clippers might take a step back following a 51-win campaign.

NBA futures odds are available at the online sportsbook, including Los Angeles Clippers odds for NBA champion, division winner, and player awards.

Clippers Futures Odds

Win Total: OTB
Pacific Division: +1200
Western Conference: +6600
NBA Championship: +12500

The NBA odds have adjusted on the Los Angeles Clippers compared to recent seasons, especially with Kawhi Leonard sidelined to start the year.

Los Angeles is +12500 to win the NBA Finals after being +2000 last preseason.

The Clippers’ win total is currently off the board.

It was a busy offseason for the Clippers, who haven’t won a playoff series since 2021.

There is much to like about the Clippers’ additions this summer, but it’s challenging to overlook George’s loss.

After five seasons in Los Angeles, George signed a four-year, $211,584,940 contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Clippers opted not to keep their core intact, though they did re-sign James Harden to a two-year, $70,000,000 deal.

Derrick Jones Jr. landed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Clippers after contributing to a Dallas Mavericks’ run to the NBA Finals last year. Kris Dunn, a defense-first guard, comes to Los Angeles after two seasons with the Utah Jazz.

Clippers 2024 Betting Prediction

Prediction: Clippers to Finish Last in Pacific Division

This market isn’t currently available, but I’m interested in fading the Clippers when more betting odds are released.

Even before Leonard’s recent injury information, this team was expected to take a step back. Now it’s up to James Harden to carry the team in his age-35 season.

The Pacific Division is exciting most years, but I like the direction of all the other teams in this grouping. The Phoenix Suns are deserving favorites, while the Sacramento Kings are due for a bounce-back campaign. The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors have intriguing upside after some offseason changes.

Simply put, the Clippers are unlikely to repeat as division champions. And I liked their chances of finishing at the bottom of the standings before Leonard was sidelined.
