The biggest stars in the NBA will take center stage during this year’s All-Star Game at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday in Chase Center. The game will be televised on TNT.
This year’s format will look very different, with three teams having eight All-Stars each. The rosters for these teams are named after TNT analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith after they drafted their respective teams on Feb. 6.

NBA All-Star Game Prediction: Team Shaq is Favored
Team Shaq is a slight favorite to win this year’s All-Star Game with +105 odds, translating to an implied probability of 48.78%. Team Chuck is not far behind with +185 odds (35.09%), suggesting this could be a two-team race.
O’Neal opted for experience, drafting many veteran All-Stars in this event. Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, who was O’Neal’s top pick, extended his record to 21 All-Star selections when he was named a starter.Â
Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will be key players for this team, which suffered a setback when Anthony Davis sustained an adductor injury in his Dallas Mavericks debut.
As for Team Chuck, Giannis Antetokounmpo was replaced by Trae Young due to injury. Barkley still has NBA MVP odds favorites Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokić to lead the way.
Smith drafted a younger team led by Jalen Brunson and Anthony Edwards, which is why Team Kenny has longer odds. Team Candace, named after Candace Parker and featuring rookies and sophomores, has the longest odds in the event.
Even after losing Davis, I predict Team Shaq to win as the deepest squad in this event.
