Based on the latest NBA betting lines, my favorite 76ers vs. Celtics prediction is over 10.5 points (-120) for Payton Pritchard in a game where the Boston reserve should get plenty of playing time.
Oddsmakers expect the Celtics to roll on Wednesday, listing them as double-digit favorites. That could give Pritchard more minutes in the second half.
He played just 21 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Orlando Magic. Pritchard has finished in single digits in back-to-back games.
But Pritchard has been my favorite Sixth Man of the Year pick since he was 100/1 in the preseason for a reason. He’s averaging 15.7 points per game as the favorite for the award, clearing this prop in nine of his past 12 games.
I like Pritchard’s chances of scoring at least 11 in a marquee matchup.
