- Pitchers and catchers report to their respective spring training camps Feb. 14-Feb. 17.
- Position players report a few days later, Feb. 20-21.
- The 2023 regular season runs from Thursday, Mar. 30 to Sunday, Oct. 1.
Spring training is finally upon us.
Teams are split between two spring training camps — one in Arizona, known as the Cactus League, and one in Florida, known as the Grapefruit League. Pitchers and catchers report to their respective camps for spring training a few days before position players, with all exact dates specified by teams.
