Paul Skenes is projected to be the starting pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates when they face the Miami Marlins on opening day on March 27.
Skenes was the National League Rookie of the Year in 2024. He went 11-3 with a 1.96 ERA in 23 starts, striking out 170 batters across 133 innings.
This could be the first of many opening day starts for Skenes in his career.
