Record for Most Runs by Team in MLB Playoff Game

The Boston Red Sox hold the record for most runs in an MLB playoff game, scoring 23 in their 23-7 win over the Cleveland Indians in Game 4 of the ALDS on Oct. 10, 1999.

In that game, the Red Sox finished with 24 hits, seven doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 23 RBIs in 48 at-bats. The Red Sox scored in seven of their eight innings, including as many as five in the second and five more in the fourth.

The New York Yankees rank second and third on this leaderboard, scoring 19 in the 2004 ALCS and 18 in the 1936 World Series.
