The record for most home runs hit by a player in an MLB playoff game is three, which has been accomplished 12 times in history.

Babe Ruth is the only player to hit three home runs in two different playoff games. Interestingly, both performances took place in Game 4 of the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals, with the first occurring in 1926 and the second in 1928.

Chris Taylor was the most recent player to hit three home runs in a playoff game, doing so as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers in a win over the Atlanta Braves in Game 5 of the 2021 NLCS.

In addition, there have been 182 multi-homer games in postseason history.
