MLB managers aren’t afraid to argue with an umpire, but sometimes that can lead to consequences. 

An umpire can eject someone for many reasons, including profanity, physical contact, or arguing a call.

Texas Rangers skipper Bruce Bochy leads all current managers in career ejections, getting tossed 88 times in his 28-year career. Bochy was ejected as many as six times during the 2007 season when he led the San Francisco Giants.

Bochy has been ejected twice so far in 2025.
