Toronto won its first pennant in 1992, defeating the Oakland Athletics 4-2.

The Blue Jays’ most recent World Series championship came in 1993, when they notched a 4-2 series victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Toronto also won the World Series with a 4-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves in 1992.

The Blue Jays are 2-0 in their two trips to the World Series since becoming a franchise in 1977.
