Buck Showalter has never won, or even appeared, in a World Series, despite having reached the playoffs six times. Since Dusty Baker’s World Series win with the 2022 Houston Astros, Showalter is the winningest active manager in Major League Baseball to have never won a World Series.

2023 is Showalter’s second season as manager of the Mets.

How Many Manager of the Year Awards Has Buck Showalter Won?

Showalter has won four Manager of the Year Awards, each with a different team. He won the award in 1994 with the New York Yankees, 2004 with the Texas Rangers, 2014 with the Baltimore Orioles, and 2022 with the New York Mets. His win in 2022 (Mets) was the only one in the National League; his previous three wins were in the American League.
