Philadelphia Phillies’ Trea Turner is considered the fastest player in MLB with an average sprint speed of 30.3 feet per second during the 2025 season, per Baseball Savant.

Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr., who is second on this list this year, has an average sprint speed of 30.4 feet per second since entering the league in 2022. That is considered the fastest mark since MLB started tracking sprint speed in 2015.
