Addison Barger – Toronto Blue Jays, 3B/OF
Average Bat Speed: 75.8 MPH (93rd percentile)
Barger has been one of the key cogs unlocking his power to boost the surging Blue Jays. The sophomore slugger is an extra base machine, and he’ll be able to become a mainstay if he cuts down on some chase to improve his on-base percentage.
Kyle Stowers – Miami Marlins, OF
Average Bat Speed: 75.0 MPH (88th percentile)
The former Orioles prospect has been tearing the cover off the ball this season and is now on the Injured List for a non-contending Marlins club. While he may boast elite barrel rates and expected stats, his strikeout and whiff rates are among the worst in the league. We’ll see if he can figure out replicating that first half of the season that led to an All-Star selection.
Hunter Goodman – Colorado Rockies, C/OF
Average Bat Speed: 74.3 MPH (82nd percentile)
As the everyday catcher in Colorado, Goodman has plenty of chances to showcase the pop he flashed in the minors. After hitting 30+ homers in 2022 and 2023 in the minor leagues and 21 between Triple-A and the majors in 2024, he’s had an absolute breakout season so far in 2025.
