For the second time this year, the Oregon Ducks find themselves on the ESPN College GameDay schedule.
That’s because No. 8 Oregon is hosting No. 17 USC in an old Pac-12 rivalry game that’s caught new life in the expanded Big Ten.
There are major CFP implications at play in this game, which is why GameDay is headed back to Eugene in the first place. The winner of this game will likely earn an at-large playoff bid; the loser will cross their fingers and hope for a fun bowl game.
Oregon vs. USC Odds

Oregon vs. USC
It’s hard to know what to make of Oregon. The Ducks lost their inside track in the conference with the home loss to Indiana back in October. The “big” road win at Penn State turned out to be a huge bust. Their best win is… at Iowa? By two points?
Oregon is giving north of a touchdown here, but it’s not clear from this season’s results that such a point spread is appropriate.
Historically, though, this series is about picking a winner. Until Oregon and USC’s Pac-12 finale match in 2023, the winner of the game had covered the spread in 13 straight games.
Both Oregon and USC rank in the top three nationally in EPA/pass.
