College GameDay has now been to Penn State 11 times, including the Week 5 show from the 2025 season.

While it’s not one of most common College GameDay locations, 11 visits since the 1993 inception of the show is a pretty good run and better than most.

When Was the Last Time College GameDay Went to Penn State?

College GameDay has now been to Penn State in two consecutive seasons.

Prior to 2024, College GameDay’s last trip to Happy Valley came in 2021. No. 10 Penn State hosted No. 22 Auburn in a nonconference game on Sept. 18. Penn State won 28-20.

The Nittany Lions were a modest favorite in that game, so that was a win and cover for Penn State football odds.
