College GameDay has now been to Georgia 11 times, including the Week 8 show from the 2025 season.

Historically, Athens is not one of the more common College GameDay locations. But the show has visited the University of Georgia a lot during the Kirby Smart era, with Georgia hosting a whopping seven times since 2019.

When Was the Last Time College GameDay Went to Georgia?

College GameDay’s last trip to Georgia was last season, 2024. GameDay has now come to Athens at least once a year for seven consecutive seasons.

Last year, College GameDay’s Athens trip was tied to No. 12 Georgia’s game against Tennessee. The Bulldogs won 31-17.

It was yet another cover for anyone who bet Georgia football odds.
