College GameDay has already announced its Week 1 destination, and it’s a highly anticipated border battle between North Carolina and South Carolina.
The College GameDay schedule could hardly have picked a better game to feature. Mack Brown’s No. 21 Tar Heels have an early Heisman odds contender in Drake Maye and are looking to kickstart another season bound for the ACC Championship game.
Meanwhile, Shane Beamer’s South Carolina Gamecocks are a trendy team on the rise, looking for some top-25 recognition of their own. Spencer Rattler finished the 2022 season on a tear, so with both Georgia and Tennesee breaking in new quarterbacks, South Carolina could make some noise in the SEC East.
North Carolina and South Carolina will face off at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. College GameDay will set up shop there, too.Â
Here are the odds – courtesy of the BetMGM online sportsbook – for anyone interested in betting the game.
