Cam Cook, the underrated junior running back from Jacksonville State, leads all FBS rushers at the conclusion of the regular season. He has 1,659 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.

Cook has been going back and forth for the lead with Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy, a likely 2027 NFL Draft pick.

Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love has thrust himself near the top of the leaderboard with a great second half to the season – so great, in fact, that he’s making noise in the Heisman Trophy odds market.

Here are the top college football rushing leaders for 2025, as of Dec. 12.
