Cherneka Johnson vs. Amanda Galle: Prediction
I predict a unanimous decision win for Johnson over Galle because her work rate and punch volume can be overwhelming. Johnson fires a lot of stiff jabs to set up her combinations, while Galle likes to be the counterpuncher.
Johnson can pressure Galle against the ropes, and although Galle would like that to happen so she can counter, I don’t think it’ll look good in the judges’ eyes, especially on their scorecards, which could favor Johnson.
Neither is known to be a heavy puncher, but the pace and volume will be the edge for Johnson. However, I had to admit that Galle has more variety in her punches, particularly when she targets her opponent’s head and body.

Johnson was a former IBF super bantamweight champion, and, when she lost her belt to Ellie Scotney, she moved down to the bantamweight division. Since her move to the 116-pound division, she has won all three fights, including the bantamweight unification title match against Shurretta Metcalf last July.

Galle was the former IBO bantamweight titleholder and is currently an undefeated contender. In her last five fights, she defeated Lorena Yenesina Cruz Aispuro, Niorkis Carreno (twice), Edith de Jesus Flores, and Alondra Yamille Hernandez Mendoza.
