Caroline Dubois will defend her WBC lightweight title for the second time, as she welcomes the challenge of Camilla Panatta on Dec. 19 inside the Kaseya Center in Miami.

Because of her undefeated pro record, Dubois is going to be the heavy betting favorite with -3330 boxing odds, while Panatta will be the overwhelming underdog with +1000 odds. A draw result has odds of +2600.

Caroline Dubois vs. Camilla Panatta: Prediction

My prediction is a TKO/KO win for Dubois against Panatta since she’s the natural lightweight fighter, and Panatta fights with a very low guard, which Dubois can capitalize on by firing her quick combinations and solid jabs.

The power of Dubois could be too much for Panatta to handle since she’ll be moving two divisions up from her natural weight class. Once Dubois finds her range, I think it will only be a matter of time before she can land a solid punch to end the match.

Furthermore, it’s going to be Panatta’s first major fight on U.S. soil, which means she’ll be fighting under the bright lights of a massive event. Usually, inexperienced fighters crumble under pressure on these big cards.

Caroline Dubois’ Recent Fight Results

Dubois is an undefeated boxing world champion and currently holds the WBC lightweight title. In her last five fights, she defeated Isela Magali Rodriguez Lopez, Miranda Reyes, Maira Moneo, and Bo Mi Re Shin, while her bout with Jessica Camara ended in a draw.

Camilla Panatta’s Recent Fight Results

Panatta was a former WBC Latino featherweight champion. She recorded four wins and one loss in her last five outings inside the ring. Panatta will be moving to the lightweight division to challenge Dubois for her belt.
