Despite a smaller prize purse and a relative lack of prestige, Delray Beach remains a popular spot for men’s tour players because of one obvious factor: the weather. A majority of players on both tours return to colder climates after January’s Aussie summer, but a trip to Florida in February does offer a few more days of sun in the heart of winter.
Unsurprisingly, the main draw at Delray has 12 American players, including No. 1 overall seed and online sports betting favorite Taylor Fritz.Â
This week’s singles winner will take home $103,455. The total prize money on offer is $680,140.
