  • The BOSS Open, or ATP Stuttgart, is a men’s grass tournament before Wimbledon.
  • The total prize purse for the 2025 BOSS Open is more than $800,000.

Stuttgart is certainly an interesting city for tennis.

The WTA hits this German city in April as an early clay tournament in the run-up to Roland Garros. The ladies’ event, which is sponsored by Porsche, is played indoors. The prize money includes a new car from the popular title sponsor. Not bad.

This year, the ATP is circling back for its own Stuttgart event in June, now that the French Open has ended and the tour calendar has switched to its brief grass season. This month’s BOSS Open is played at a different venue – Tennisclub Weissenhof – which is outside.

Germany and England are two of the main destinations for grass season, so it’s not surprising to see Stuttgart drawing some big names, like American Ben Shelton and grass favorite Matteo Berrettini.

BetMGM’s tennis odds will surely like hometown hero Alexander Zverev, too.

This is a 250-point event, so the overall prize purse is smaller than some events. As a 500-point draw, Queen’s Court is probably the richer event to play at the week after the French Open.

Still, the short draw will still be awarded a total of €751,630, or roughly $855,000. Not bad.
